Antique DEP Jumeau doll. Head made by Simon & Halbig for Jumeau, body made by Jumeau. She is marked DEP and with the remaining of a red Tête Jumeau stamp. Body marked with Jumeau sticker. Standing around 17.5 inches or 45 cm tall. Blue sleepeyes, pierced ears and an open mouth with teeth. Her eyes have some of her original real hair eyelashes remaining. Outfit not original. Her wig with attached corkpate is original. Ca. 1900.
Condition: No hairlines or cracks to be noted, but there is a very minimal chip at the eye and at a earring hole, which is often seen on these dolls. Body in good condition, with normal wear. Only hands have some flaking, as often the case with French bodies. The body has a mama and a papa voice, we can send a video of this on request so you can hear it.
